The glassworks are an investigation into the single gesture of a rolled slab. Each piece is produced through a specific process, and the works are serial in nature, but given the slippery and aleatory nature of the action, the process produces difference in each work, impossible to replicate.
The aluminum works are initially formed from slabs of wax are that poured, cooled, heated, and rolled. Working directly in the wax, each piece expresses unique form, bearing the marks of its making. The waxes are investment cast in aluminum and nickel plated.

Each material responds and reacts in different ways with their chewy and visceral resistance to the action.

Commissions and explorations into form and scale are welcome.
